Terms And Conditions 

Introduction

Welcome to Christian Cuddle Companions ("CCC", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Christian Cuddle Companions online community platform and all associated services, resources, and training materials (collectively, the "Platform").

By registering for membership, completing onboarding, or accessing any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

About Christian Cuddle Companions

Christian Cuddle Companions is a ministry-readiness community dedicated to equipping individuals for ethical, faith-centred, platonic companionship. Our mission is grounded in Christian values and a commitment to human dignity, emotional support, safeguarding, and the love of Christ.

All services offered through this Platform are provided within a strictly non-romantic, non-sexual framework. CCC is not a dating platform, therapeutic service, or clinical intervention.

Eligibility and Registration

To become a member of this Platform, you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over

  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

  • Agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and all associated community policies

  • Complete the required onboarding process, including acceptance of our Code of Conduct and Safeguarding Guidelines

CCC reserves the right to decline or revoke membership at its sole discretion where an applicant does not meet the standards required for safe and ethical participation.

Nature of Companionship — Non-Romantic Framework

Christian Cuddle Companions operates exclusively within a platonic, faith-led companionship model. All community interactions — whether digital or in-person — must remain:

  • Non-romantic and non-sexual in nature

  • Respectful of each member's stated personal boundaries

  • Consistent with Christ-centred values of care, dignity, and service

  • Free from any conduct that could be perceived as grooming, coercive, or inappropriate

Members who seek or facilitate romantic or sexual engagement through this Platform will be subject to immediate suspension or removal. CCC operates in full compliance with the laws of England and Wales.

Safeguarding Obligations

Safeguarding is a core value of this community. By joining, all members agree to:

  • Uphold the CCC Safeguarding Guidelines at all times

  • Report any concerns about the welfare of themselves or another member promptly

  • Refrain from acting in the capacity of a counsellor, therapist, or mental health professional unless formally qualified and acting within an appropriate professional framework

  • Prioritise the safety and dignity of all individuals above personal preference or comfort

Community Standards and Conduct

All members are expected to engage with one another in a manner that reflects the values of Christ: with kindness, patience, humility, and respect. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying of any kind

  • Discriminatory language or behaviour based on age, disability, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic

  • Sharing or soliciting personal contact details outside of the permitted relational progression pathway

  • Posting content that is offensive, explicit, defamatory, or legally prohibited

  • Misrepresenting oneself or impersonating another member

  • Sharing confidential information disclosed by another member without consent

Violation of these standards may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

Membership, Payments, and Refund Policy

By purchasing a membership or course, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the point of sign-up.

  • All payments are processed securely through our payment provider

  • Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis unless cancelled before the next billing date

  • One-time course purchases grant permanent access to the purchased content, subject to the ongoing operation of the Platform

Refund Policy for Course Materials

Once any course module materials have been downloaded, no refund will be issued under any circumstances. By downloading course content, you acknowledge that the material has been delivered and therefore falls outside the scope of any refund eligibility.

A refund request may be considered only where a member has viewed module content and has not downloaded any materials, and chooses not to continue at that point. Such requests are assessed at the sole discretion of CCC management and must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the initial purchase to support@christiancuddlecompanions.com. No refund requests will be considered after this period.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including course materials, documents, handouts, training resources, videos, images, and written content — is the intellectual property of Christian Cuddle Companions unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission from CCC.

Data Protection and Privacy

Christian Cuddle Companions is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the purposes of:

  • Community membership management

  • Course delivery and progress tracking

  • Safeguarding and welfare responsibilities

  • Communications relevant to your membership

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Christian Cuddle Companions shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the conduct of community members, technical interruptions, or data loss. CCC is a community and training platform — it is not a regulated therapeutic or clinical service. Members are responsible for their own wellbeing and for seeking professional support where needed.

Termination of Membership

CCC reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, with or without notice, in the event of:

  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions

  • Breach of the Code of Conduct or Safeguarding Guidelines

  • Conduct that brings CCC into disrepute

  • Non-payment of applicable membership fees

  • Behaviour that poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of other members

Amendments to These Terms

CCC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via the Platform or by email. Continued use following notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
